Who am I? My name is Fanny Surjana, full-time web developer & designer. I was born in Indonesia, currently stranded in United States and Lovin' Every Part of it!

I am currently in San Diego, working for Gspann Technologies, Inc. - a consulting company based in Fremont, CA. My current assignment is to provide Web development & Interwoven support to corporate clients such as Sony Electronics, Blue Cross Blue Shield and P&G.

In my past job, I did site design & programming using ASP & VBScript. I also take care some side sites such as Tekwork.com, Imp-Tech.com, ChoiceCareAgency.com, Saqha.org & many more using various technologies from C#/ASP.NET, LAMP to WordPress. On several occasions I supervised several web developer interns to help me with my sometimes-nasty-workload. But believe it or not, I work really good with deadlines.

I am very passionate about web. I tried to keep myself up-to-date with current trend by reading news from Slashdot, Digg, Wired. I am an Avid RSS & Web 2.0 user. I manage my photos online at Zoto.com, using del.icio.us bookmarks, read RSS news using bloglines.com, writing online documents using zohowriter.com, saving files on MediaMax streamload.com. No, I'm not being paid by those companies.

Hobbies? I have plenty. I love writing. I love games; Tetris, Final Fantasy, Crazy Taxi, Frozen Bubble etc. I love sports; badminton, volleyball. I love hiking & camping as long as bears & snakes aren't involved. I love music, in fact I played keyboard & drum for my former amateur band called "Whatever Band" ^^; I love movies. I love hanging around with all kinds of people.

My current goal for life is to spend as much times as possible with those I care about: my family, my boyfriend, my friends and the future of internet. I don't want to do my job just for the sake of making money; I want to build simple, better, working websites that are usable to users like my parents.
